Not too long ago, I was searching the market for a smartwatch. I struck gold and found exactly what I was looking for in the Fitbit Versa Lite. This is my first time owning a smartwatch and I was super excited to get my new Fitbit! I’ve wanted a smartwatch for some time now and I’ve looked at a few different options in that area, but for one reason or another, I was never able to pull the trigger on the purchase. Now I am a proud owner of one and honestly, what was I waiting for?!
I was recently gifted the Fitbit Versa Lite and I’m excited to share my review of this smartwatch. With never owning one beforehand, I knew of their cool and helpful features. But, the main reason why I wanted one was to keep track of my steps, heart rate, sleeping and to keep track of my health, in general. It’s always smart to be in the know of your body! In 2020, one of my goals is to be healthier overall and the Fitbit Versa Lite seemed to best fit my lifestyle. Not to mention, it also fits my fashion style, too!
Setting up the watch was a breeze – it was really simple, straightforward and only took a few minutes. The watch came with both purple and white bands and features a slim, minimalist design. (See, I told you it fit with my style!) The wristband is soft and pliable which makes life so much easier, because who wants to wear something uncomfortable around their wrist all day? I have actually slept with my watch on a number of times and it hasn’t bothered me at all, in fact, most times I completely forget I’m wearing it! I sweat a lot while I sleep so I was half expecting to wake up with a wet wrist, but to my surprise, the band didn’t get hot and sweaty throughout the night.
Another feature that I love is that there are hundreds of clock faces to select from, along with all the apps you could ever think of needing in the watch. That’s one of the things I love about it too – it’s much more than just a watch. It tracks how many hours you sleep, shows you text notifications, shows the weather, alerts you about upcoming events, syncs with your phone to play music and *bonus* it’s waterproof! While in Barbados, I spent countless hours at the beach and this watch never left my hand once. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the battery lasted on my trip, as well. I was constantly using it so I figured it was bound to die. I left it on Thursday with a full charge and the battery lasted 4 full days with a 30-minute workout on each of those before needing another charge. I can’t even have my phone charged for a full day!
Overall, I can go on and on about how insanely satisfied I am with it. My first smartwatch has made me very happy and for the price, it’s a steal. It has all of the essential features you need in a smartwatch without having to pay a fortune. You really have nothing to lose. Unless you don’t get it. Then you lose out on this super cool gadget! 😉
